Rats and Rabbits

Postby GCol » Mon Mar 28, 2016 10:23 am

Good morning

Does anybody know anyone that sells and ships frozen rats and rabbits. I am based in a small town in Zululand and just do not have the space to breed my own.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Try frozen piglets instead.

How big is a piglet Sico? I have 4 Carpet pythons and a couple of Boa's all around the 5-6 feet mark. Pardon my ignorance but I have never used them before. I am willing to give them a go though. The rats I will need for my Cobras, Tree snakes and smaller pythons though.

You get piglets occasionaly as small as 250g (smaller than a large rat) and upwards to nearly 3kg. I know several guys who have used piglets for everything from medium pythons to large cobras and even mambas.

No worries. I'd happily help you out, but i've stopped supplying piglets as the demand just didn't warrant the time involved.
