Both imports could be interesting

I am probably going with Malaysia. Here is what the import looks like right now
2.2 purple spot kukri snake
1.1 yellow striped wolf snake
4.4 slender wolf snakes
1.1 little file snakes
2.2 Malayan brown snakes
2.2 buff striped keelback
2.2 triangle keelback
1.1 aquatic snakes

I am only keeping 8 pairs [so 16 snakes we just made a new snake room so I have the space :D ]. My buyers wanted some rear fanged snakes but I couldn't get those or the cbb monitors they wanted because of local laws :( .

I know everyone has their own interests, but that is a strange list of animals for Malaysia. I would rather look into:
- Oreocrypthophis porphyraceus
- Acrochordus javanicus
- Xenopeltis unicolor (my favourite)
- Coelognathus erythrurus
- Coelognathus flavolineatus
- Ptyas sp.
Pareas sp (if you have access to food).

I really enjoy Asian colubrids so I really envy you being able to import some of these critters.

Good luck

My importer sent me his final price list because he doesn't think he will get new snakes for a little bit. We changed up what I am getting a bit

1.1 Ptyas mucosus
2.2 yellow banded wolf snakes
2.2 red banded wolf snakes
1.2 bamboo rat snakes
1.1 little file snakes
3.3 Chinese water skink
5.5 dragon snakes [absolute favorites so excited can't wait to establish them]
4.4 chubby frogs
1.1 red tail rats green phase 0.1 yellow phase and 2.0 silver phase
2.2 dog faced water snakes
2.2 buff striped keelbacks
2.2 toad headed agamas

I will be selling one male silver phase red tail rats to a friend. The female bamboo rat will be going to a breeder that is a good friend of mine along with a male keelback and water snake. I am sending two pairs of wolf snakes from each species to a guy in Florida that I met at an expo. Most if not all of the agamas and skinks are going to local reptile shops along with three pairs of dragon snakes and two pairs of chubby frogs. And then whatever is left after all that stays here for my family to enjoy.

Watch that you dont get nailed by those keelbacks. I am surprised you are allowed to keep these venomous species.

No these keelbacks are nonvenomous genus Amphiesma. Also known as Indo Chienese garter snakes.

Oh never heard that name being used for them. The keelbacks I know are the genus Rhabdophis and they are both poisonous and venomous.

You're not alone in that, Bushviper. I was not aware of any nonvenomous keelbacks, either. Thanks for teaching me something new, Jake. :D

A little bit off-topic, but this seems like a good place to ask: aside from Rhabdophis and some Thamnophis, can any of you think of any other poisonous snake genera?

Nope not that I know of. It could be some other toad feeding snake somewhere. Possibly even a South American frog feeder.

I can't think of any poisonous ones dint even know there were any. The keelbacks I am getting are really cool snakes great little things. Care is pretty much the same as Thamnophis. Also called indo garters.http://www.dtsherpsinc.com/Indonesian-Garter-Snake.html
