URGENT - Pietersburg, Seshego

Postby Rishaad » Mon Jul 18, 2011 12:24 pm

Hi

I am still urgently looking for someone who can assist with call outs in the Seshego industrial area. I just need to know what the call out fee is and communicate this to the correct channels.

Another 2 snouted cobras have been killed this morning.

These pictures are graphic and the sad part is that they are being killed in a manner that is not quick and fast and rather slow and painful.

How about contacting the snake park in Polokwane? They might be able to assist.

I have been trying to contact the guy from there, but it seems as though nobody is available. I will keep trying though.

I know for a fact that they do call-outs, as one of the guys working their was on his way to one the last time I was there. Would be quite pathetic if they are not able to help you.

Just spoke to someone at the park, he is unfortunately unable to assist but has referred me to someone else in the area.

I just received another phone call informing me about 2 more snakes found inside the warehouse this time. Looks like a wolf snake to me but could it be a stiletto? I cannot be too certain. Anyone want to take a shot?

Looks like a Stilletto but could also be a Purple Glossed. I strongly doubt Wolf.

This is really sad, I feel so sorry for those snakes in the OP.
The last one does look a lot like a Stiletto.

Key ID points.
Look at the tail of the snake.
Short stout head.

Just throwing it out there.
