Sri Lankan palm viper babies 11/12/11 (C.trigonocephalus)

Our Trig started giving birth late yesterday afternoon, and appears to be almost done. There are quite a few people that are waiting on these little guys, so I thought I'd pop up a few pics.

Stunning! Well Done
You know, you can touch a stick of dynamite, but if you touch a venomous snake it’ll turn around and bite you and kill you so fast it’s not even funny.

You have been rather busy this weekend. Well done. It took long enough trying to find pairs of this species.

That first picture is a stunner.

Thanks very much everyone, there were no slugs or stillborns but I can't count them accurately just yet. They are EVERYWHERE, and it looks like a lot more females than males at this stage.

Great photos, let us know what the litter size was when you get around to counting them.
