Does anyone know of a pet travel agency or something that I could use to transport a macaw from durban to joburg?

Got to agree with Pinky. If a homing pigeon can do it then so can a macaw.

Seriously though it is much safer to do it yourself. You buy a big transport box, pop in the bird and take it to the airport. Book it on the next flight to joburg.

Once it has left you phone the people in joburg with the airwaybill number. They then go pick it up at the airport 30 minutes after the planes lands.

Simple
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.
