Not pets, but also not herps...

The field herping has come to a screeching halt here, so I haven't had anything to post in a while. I was going through some photos today, though, and I found some that I thought some of you might enjoy. The following are some of the four-legged denizens of the local area.

And, lastly, my personal favorite, Rocky Mountain elk









Wish I'd gotten better shots of this last scene, but they were done almost as fast as they started. (The larger bull on the left chased the other one off in fairly short order. It was difficult trying to get them in focus.)
