Mobile?

Postby fredsmith » Fri Aug 15, 2008 11:36 am

I speak mainly for myself, but I'm sure many might agree.
For the most part I use my Cellphone to check on new posts etc.. replying to posts and uploading from a cell is not the easiest task...
Is or are the Admin's looking into a possible wap or mobile site?

Interesting suggestion. I personally did not know one could have a wap/mobile version of the site. When I browse with my phone I scroll up/down/left/right to get around, is there an easier way?

Download Opera Mini to your cell froot, it resizes normal web pages to make for easier scrolling on your cellphone.
I have not viewed the page through my cell yet, but have viewed other pages.
I will check it out tonight.

php is a server side script, it does not care what the end user uses to view it, only that headers are correct. What you want (i assume) is a different more user friendly, site for mobile devices, witch would probably mean creating a new site.

I also do this, a mobile version would be great. Go to wap.getjar.com to download applications.
