It has to be managed properly.
Take a look at Satarantula.co.za auctions that went South fast.
Due to Buddie system and people not sticking to the time frame that they have set.
The only issue with Auctioning stuff off, is you might end up paying 2X more for a snake in an auction, than just buying it straight up.
Rules have to put into place, and have to be obeyed.
Also what I would suggest, just like in an Auction you have a Auctioneer, the same should apply to the whole auction Thread, remove some of the human error and buddy system out of the Auction.
I had a friend here today from the site and he was complaining about the one auction that he lost the spiders he was biding, because of the guy closing the thread early.
