They are actually quite easy to keep and breed.
You need to provide them with a sandy substrate, hiding spots and a hot spot. Do not put heating pads in, put a nice big spot light in the cage where he can bask, and when he gets warm enough, he can go hide. 28 - 30 degrees is about the right temp for them, as Dentech said.
They give live birth, so you do not have to worry about incubation. They love meal worms, and will also take crickets, in moderation. Oh, and remember, if you want to breed them, you need a pair!! lol
