Crested Gecko Help

Hi Guys and Gals,

I just took possession of my 1st Crested Gecko. A Flame gecko.

I stay in Centurion and would like to get the right food to feed him with and also the right vitamins, lighting etc.

Any help as to a shop that will be able to help me with this? The 3 I visited in the immediate area just looked me funny and said they no longer do reptiles.

Also what lighting would you suggest I get? I have an exo-terra glass terrarium that is 30x30x45.

Try and get some Crested Gecko Diet from a different pet store. It's a pastey type stuff, it's all they need.

Hello RaD

I get my Pangea Crested Gecko food from a guy in Midrand who posts it to you. They go mad for it and I think that my 15 Crested Geckoes all are very happy and well-off on it. i can give you the number, but as this is my first posting on this site, am not certain of protocols

Apologies @RaD, late night working and somehow RaD became Rab...I did send him Gecko Guy's details. This is a great forum of people, and it feels a bit like a cyber lounge, with humans and reptiles, conversing, helping, and generally being kind. It does not feel at all like a website.
