My 2c worth:
When I have a knew nasty pet, I pick him up with a glove, but leave my other hand uncovered, then when he feels comfortable, and a little calmed down I pass him to my bare had, and if he gets to wild, I pass him back to the gloved hand. I have not tried this with lizards, only with snakes. And the other thing is just to keep on trying till he gets used to you, it won't happen in a flash.

Just lots and lots of time and patience.

Well the tegu is going to take alot of time...his got his own personality which ia kinda like il come to you when i feel like it haha

With the bosc i had some luck this morning before i fed him he did come when i clicked my fingers. Handled him for a bit before he kraped all over me hahaha.

Seems like with both im going to use the hand feeding method to get them use to being handled.

On a positive note
