I take it you have never been stung by a bee? That is one of the most dumbest statements I have seen here on SAreptiles.The bite has no effect on humans, and yes I am talking from experience both bee and Herald.

TonyK I agree with you on the bee sting being way worse as I also have no affects when bitten but you are being a bit harsh. I am sure the bites vary from person to person immune system plays a big role in how the venom affects you.

Let it go somewhere close to where it was found.

Tony I think what he meant by that comment was 'lady don't stress too much, its bite is no worse then a bee sting'...

And I don't think its 'crappy' comments, but more when we bicker amongst ourselves that we all look like idiots and send a potential new member running for the hills!

You're right Tony it ain't a bee sting but you gotta let non herpers understand the answer so saying it the old fashioned way is not entirely cliche.

Lastly none of you are stupid enough to let a herald chew on you for longer than needed so there is no conclusive info on what a bite can do.

There are two species of snake I've have found I have a reaction too!

Heralds and Beetz;

Both give me immediate headaches which goes away after anything from 5min to half an hour.

They are definitely not dangerous in any way, just I that have an reaction!

See as I said me and TonyK don't have reactions but Henco (Nvlooi) does it varies from person to person but mostly a harmless snake.
