You have two boas? Red Tail Boas I'll guess. Then what's wrong with getting a yellow anaconda? They grow up to approximately 3 metres. Of course you may have been mistaking my earlier suggestion as a Green anaconda which can grow up to 10 metres. But a yellow anaconda doesn't. The reason why I suggested a Yellow Anaconda is because they're an aggresive snake which could teach you to never let your guard down around a snake.

Well if you can't handle an agressive House Snake you should really not be handeling anything venomous like an Adder, no matter what kind!!

Why wont your parents allow you to keep an Anaconda, but they allow you to keep Boas? Fair enough Boas are far gentler giants, but what is their reasoning to this?

Uhm, there are not that many Green Anacondas around, so I think the chances are pretty slim you would've been talking about those. But thanks for clearing that up. ;)

How old are you and do you think you'd be capable of handling and caring for a venomous snake? I dunno, I tend to think that if you're responsible enough to be careful and look after the snake properly then I dont see a problem.
However you must appreciate that the guys here are trying to help you and obviously have a lot of knowledge on the subject. Maybe it would be wise to keep an aggressive snake first. I don't think you should feel like everyone is shouting you down. They are just concerned for your safety and that of the snake.
