Postby LizardLover » Mon Jan 07, 2013 4:04 pm

I tried to log into Gmail and YouTube but it said: "Your browser's cookie functionality is turned off. Please turn it on."
So....
What am I suppose to do? There is a link that told me how to fix it, but that method they gave me didn't work so now I don't know what to do. I've tried allot of stuff like Googling it and yahoo answers ect. Nothing works! Please help
I'm on google chrome btw.

I Am not sure if I should answer this "inappropriate" post but here it goes anyway:

What browser do you use?

(Internet Explorer is not an option, if indeed you use IE... Download a real browser like Chrome or Firefox)

Click the Chrome menu icon .
Select Settings.
Click Show advanced settings near the bottom of the page.
Click Content settings in the "Privacy" section.
Select Allow local data to be set to allow both first-party and third-party cookies. If you only want to accept first-party cookies, check the box next to "Block all third-party cookies without exception."

Then it's not a browser problem. It doesn't really make sense. Try contacting your ISP.

Sounds Like there might be some ports Blocked.. Check your Firewall Settings and Also Check if you have enough space on the computer.. (Allocated Space for Offline Content)

Try Clearing the Cache

I Also thought about blocked ports but why would this problem "suddenly" occur. (I Am assuming that LizardLover has used Chrome to check his gmail in the past)

It could be a new Program he/she installed or a simple update.. many things.. could also be the ISP.
