1000s deadly snakes kept as pets

So lets add a picture of a corn snake...

I agree there should be some way that only certain people can buy and keep venomous, like had a handling course or something. About the "escaped snakes", many of those are dumped pets cause they can't be sold (I've taken in a fare share before and rehomed/sold quite a few of them again) or the person doesn't have a permit and is scared of being caught, some snakes do escape, but my personal experience is that most of them is found again...

Personally I think the occasional escaped pet snake is a much less risk to the environment and even people than the street dogs and cats (carry diseases, cats destroy ecosystems, dog attacks more common than random snake attack...)
