On every single video there are glaring mistakes and exaggerations. I really wish people would get their facts straight before going to the media and claiming to be experts.

They state that "One drop of this snake's venom could kill 500 people" ! and then mention a boomslang. Thats not going to happen
They state that "SA has around 170 species of snakes; 11 are venomous" and I think we know that is nowhere near the truth. Deaths have been recorded from 14 species and many others are also venomous but have not killed humans.
Here again the say "Puff adders are the most dangerous snakes in SA -" and that has no medical basis as more people get bitten by Mozambique spitting cobras than puff adders and very few deaths are recorded from this species.
then this "Here's Africa's smallest python - the ball python" although the burrowing python is far shorter and thinner.

You have to know your facts if you intend to teach people.

I see.
Yeah I would also make sure of things if I want to go into technicalities and details like that.

It seems to be a general trend in society to just swallow and believe everything you hear. I think that just stems from a laziness to verify everything.
Then again I suppose that makes one a bit of a skeptic.

A little skepticism never hurt anyone though ;)
