Well done Pythonadipsas , BB & BV! The site is really nice - I am a graphic designer AND web designer and I find it clean, functional and easy to navigate. It is a great example of a forum - Well done again guys! :D

I'm really happy with the new look. Looks nice. But if I can just cast a little teenie weenie bit of criticism It would be this.......

I've used to be a member of another site. They also had a recent facelift, but after all the added graphics the site is so slow, sometimes my PC doesnt want to open it, and sometimes it will open but as soon as I go into a forum it bombs out (this didn't happen before the facelift). So what I want to know does added graphics and stuff make a site slower???? And if it does, please just keep it in the back of your minds each time you're adding fancy graphics. But I agree there's definately a happy medium and once again job well done.

LJS we will only add things that are a boost to the functionality of the site. We do not need bells and whistles which do nothing to enhance your experience here.

We believe people come here for the content and not the look, although we will still try to be pleasing to the eye while you are here.

LJS you brought up a very important point and great criticism thanks.

Yes graphics, depending on their weight, can make a site slower. Web page 'weight' is always an issue. I have tried to keep the graphics small and they are not too much larger and in some cases smaller than the original graphics I replaced.

Also, these days, things are better with options like ISDN, ADSL and cellular broadband like iburst available in most housholds.

Are you having bad experiences when loading the site with the new look?

No not at all. Its just something that bugged me in the past with other sites. I have HSDPA which is supposed to be lightning fast. And if I battled on those sites, I pitty those with slower connections.

it was just a very friendly reminder. Sorry If I sounded negative.

LJS that is why we are the premium site. We will not burden you with useless stuff which just frustrates you.

Positive critisism is welcomed. I went off at another member earlier on this thread because he has a tendencey for making silly posts. I did not even consider that it might be honest criticism.

Please don't be afraid of posting. I'll go sit in my round corner again, promise.

The green was temporary and a mistake - no one else saw it. ShhH - don't tell! ;)
