Yeah, my dad was told never to feed his beardie superworms cause they would burrow out of it's stomach. *sigh*

I have seen similar at a wild bird rehab!
Only once though, it was with a baby hoephoe! The bird died suddenly and an autopsy was performed by a well known veterinarian!

There was definately damage to the stomach lining but certainly not a burrow! It was unclear weather or not it was caused by the mush which bearly resembled a mealworm!

Saying this was caused by mealworm would be pure speculation!

Maybe its cases like this that cause the birth of these notions!?!
No other lightly explanation for cause of death and snap!!! It's like a doctor who says.......
"theres a bug going around at the moment, you must have caught that!?!"

In other words......"I have no clue but i'l give it my best shot"
"The prey equals in importance to the preditor and the preditor to that of the prey!"

so not a pet shop but rather a "company" that breeds and sells a large number of different geckos, lizzards and snakes...anyway they were doing a show at our local beach during the december holidays, and i eventually just shook my head and gave up the argument because he insisted "bearded dragons" really can drop their tails!

:smt023 sure thing bud!
