Hi guys number two

Here is the place to discuss anything not related to reptiles and does not fall into any other catagories.

I have just been given this message from Graeme.

He said he is speechless and needs to review his attitude towards people in general. He asked that I pass on his thanks to everyone who have made what was destined to be a very sh!tty festive season a hell of a lot better.

His reasons for resigning I will discuss with him shortly and will try to sort the problem out. Apparently some people have been bad mouthing others via PMs this will be taken care of.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.

Thanks to everyone who was kind enough to post something here, words can't describe what went through my head at the time ( luckily not a few 9mm rounds) and certainly not the feeling of warmth that came with the kind thoughts from all you people afterwards. Some of whom don't even know me! It wasn't the assault but the support from you guys that has made me take a step back and re-evaluate where I was going with my life. There is not much I can say but a massive Thank you.
Hopefully I will get the opportunity to thank you each personally in the future during the course of this strange, strange path we have chosen. To answer the question about my resignation: ( I can't speak for Gaboon 69)

I honestly felt that the late nights shooting the breeze with anyone and everyone was starting to take a toll on me and the snakes that I keep, that people whom I have never met were starting to get under my skin and that the strict routine that I try to live by with regards to breeding snakes was begining to suffer.
I think I have a lot to give back to this hobby, but unfortunately not on a social level.

If it is all well with the mods, I would like to continue the use of the advertising section as well the privilege to peer in on the discussions from time to time (especially the adults only one). I will however refrain from posting comments and getting involved in debates. There are more than a few people who will be happy to hear that!

Anyways, once again, thank you all for everything and all the best for whatever the future holds.

G.

Nice to have you back Graeme. You are always welcome to advertise and share whatever you want with us :) Debates can become heated, and everyone has a right to their own opinion. I try to steer clear of those too. It's just not worth it.

BTW, glad things also seem to be looking up for you :) You know where to go if you need any help, etc. We're here for you buddy!!

Nice to see you've come out on the otherside in one piece!

Sometimes life just has a way of throwing things (and people) at us that we don't really appreciate. But in the end WE ALL have one thing in common, our love for reptiles and that is something worth cherishing.

May you have MANY more happy scaly reptile years still to come.
