A few pics - Pythons\Boas DUW

Postby Mitton » Tue Oct 14, 2008 9:30 pm

I recently posted pics of my Carpet pythons and thought I would post some pics of some of my other Pythons and Boas.

1st up my Dumerils. These snakes are so amazing and I love them to death.

Just a pic to see the size difference

Then my Rainbow Boas

This 1 is a bit blue I think, so did not want to bother him too much

And my Childrens pythons. I got them from Snake4Africa and he went and fetched them in hell, they are vicious biting things but calm down once out of the cage. They did not want to sit still.

loving the childrens pythons, not enough people keep pythons like that.

Definitely childrens and blood pythons are my top pythons, and they are highly underated snakes - quite a pity

Brazilian rainbow looks stunning.
If the larger dumerils is the female, she could be gravid. My female looks similar and she is gravid.

Great shots.

Thanks guys
froot, the big Dumeril is the female and I am also thinking she might be gravid but I'll have to see in a couple of months. She does not lay on her side like I know they should but maybe that is still to come. She also tends to stay on the cooler side of the cage most of the time and still eats like she has never had food before.
Any others (Rainbows) gravid?

Cool pics of some awesome snakes! Best of luck with breeding the Dumerils mittone. There is nothing like the feeling of going to the viv one day and seeing this squirming bunch of newborn little living jewels :)
