Sores...

Postby Silvrav » Wed Oct 06, 2010 1:54 pm

Hi Guys

Got a friend in the US with a boa (see photo)

There is 3 sores on her head (nothing on the body)

The following as been eliminated as possibilities:
1. Mites
2. Rubbing on something sharp/rough in the cage
3. Burns (not source to burn against)
She has recently shed as well, and it is still there.

Any suggestions/knowhow?

Edited: They are sores not soars. Eagles soar and when you get hurt it is sore. BV

It looks to me like the snake has rubbed itself raw trying to get under something like carpet or a log.
