Looking for ATB

Postby Rox6or » Tue Aug 26, 2014 8:53 pm

Hay Guys.
Well I am new to the forum and kinda neat to find one for South Africa. Iv'e been keeping and breeding corn snakes for a while now as well as ball pythons. I'm really considering going up to something that is a bit more difficult to keep. Iv'e been doing my research and I seem to really like what I seen in the amazon tree boas. I have a enclosure already set up to basically accommodate any mid sized arboreal snake. Iv'e been running it with heating and lights on to check temps and humidity and all is running constant(temp: 30 hot end and 27 cool end?) (humidity: +- 70 to 80%?). My question is now where can I find any of these guys. I'm in the vaal area in gauteng and can't seem to find any? Please any recommendations on temps and humidity as well as where I would be able to find some ATB's would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

Keep an eye on the classifieds, there have been quite a few advertisements for amazon tree boas recently.

If you have no luck try the Spring expo. There should be some for sale there again.
