Get a dead day old chick and pull the fluffy feathers off and stick this onto a small rat pup. Let the pup wobble around in the cage late in the evening. Spray the cage just before the sun goes down too. Give the snake a smaller hide box that he can feel it on his back when he hides inside it.

update. . .

i try to offer him rat pinkie last night and the result - negative

he's not interested to the pinkie (not even flick his tongue)

• i try covering the pinkie with an adult chicken feather. (negative)
• also wash the pinkie with an unscented soap and rub the pinkie in an adult chicken. (negative)
• also try to cut the head of the pinkie in half and leave the pinkie and the snake in a small container. (negative)

the snake looks active and healthy. he always comes out of his hide box every night.

i'm now in frustration mode. it's been 15 days since his last meal. he's just a hatchling.

You will have to force a small meal down his throat and get keep him alive that way. It needs to be done quickly so that he does not waste his energy fighting you.

Take a small dead mouse and cover it is the white of an egg. Pick up the snake and push the mouse down into his throat quickly with some blunt nosed forceps. Then put the snake down and make him move forward slowly which will start him swallowing the mouse.

Do not handle the snake at all for the next few weeks except when you are force feeding him. Once he gets food in him he will become stronger and realise he must eat to survive.
