The two species that i found a lot on call-outs are also the 2 that is so different from each other.

Almost a Mercedes.. vs ..Bulldozer thing.

The BHS (L. capensis) is the Merc......, well defined, trusworthy, a looker, colourfull. Just beautifull, docile and calm. Kids can touch it and it's just a "good citizen".

Then the Mole Snake (P. cana)... the Bulldozer......, the roughness, the power, the viciousness. Smelly, dirty and moving. Wants to bite and fight.
But..... also beautiful in its own way and interesting.

Beautiful, nice close-ups very nice.
Evolution is an imperfect and often violent process. A battle between what exists, and what is yet to be born.
