The Philippines is really a great place for exotic snakes.
Strange to know that highly venomous snakes are extremely hard to find even the indigenous ones.

But in places like Mambukal and Bohol island these vipers are plentiful.Bit red tape around permits but not impossible.
On Batanes Island we find the extremely rare white viper.

Very cool man.

I hope I dont sound daft, but the two snakes pictured do not even look like the same species.

Ignoring the colour differences, the build looks different, the heads look different and the amount of keeling on the scales look different.

Gee whizz! Beautiful. Trimersurus is my favorite venomous snake. I know they probably changed the name,but I'll stick to that. Awesome

They are quite pretty and I'm with Serpent regarding venom potency.
