Femoral Pores

Femoral Pores

Postby CarlaSmit87 » Tue Dec 21, 2010 8:36 am

I have a beardie of about +/- 2 months.
I saw the he/she has already the beginning of the femoral pores on the inside of his back legs. Does this mean that Poggie is a male? Or do I have to wait until he is older to see the "tail-bulges"
Just for interest sake, why do people not probe lizzards like snakes?

Carla at 2 months it is a bit young.

Some people do probe lizards but it is more difficult and takes a steady hand. The probe does not go as deep either.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.
