a new beardie mom

Hallo all, I have bought my daughter a baby beardie last night. I've looked at a couple of caresheets and think I'm up the right path wrt his enclosure. Ì do have a few questions. The baby is very young, he came with a nice big enclosure that have small pebble like substrate (bought astroturf today), one basking light, one heatpad and then some water bowls fake plants and so forth.
Ok what I need to know, I bought a 5.0 reptisol uvb light, but do I have to replace it with the basking light or do I have both lights and heat pad in?
Do I only feed crickets and fruit and veg to him, or is 1/4" roaches also good. Do I put the calsium only on the live feeders or also on the fruit and veg?
Do I put the lights out at night and only leave heatpad on, or do they also require a temp drop at night (I am used to chameleons)
