All he needed was a pair of jeans, a pair of hitech boots, a hook stick and a handling course...

Sad how many times the snake was dropped, I would think that could cause a bit of damage. Lovely cobra non the less

I like the way Nature boy says he is an expert. In the video he says "Jy kry twee soorte kobras. Die geel slang en die koper kapel".

Can you say Wannabee !!!!

If you read the comments he claims to be writing a book on Cape Cobra, I have all reason to doubt him judging by his handling skills.Guys like this gives us a bad name should anything happen. He came very close to being tagged a few times...

I dont care if he gets tagged, what bothers me is if he wastes antivenom some innocent victim might need.

I would love to know who gave him his FGASA training. I bet they are hiding their heads in shame.

Wow. That is scary.

Perhaps it was the CRI course that he attended. But I cannot be held responsible for how people behave afterwards; I am their teacher not their keeper.

The other day I was on my way home from university when I got a call from a guy saying there was a big male puffy "playing" with his boxers in the garden. I had no hookstick or bucket, all I had with me was a fishing rod and a pillow case. I used the lower half of the rod as well as the pillow case and managed to bag the puffy in almost under a minute while still making sure I wasnt within striking distance and without physically touching the puffy.

If you have common sense and know what you are dealing with then it is amazing what you can manage with limited equipment. I know several people including myself who could easily handle a capie in that situation without getting in harms way or tormenting the snake. It looks as though he is catching that snake in the first video, not one that he has been keeping and is handling. They say a man is only as good as his tools. Not true in many cases. In this case that man was far worse than his tools :smt021

Jamster, I would have thought the first stick he had if a few branches where broken off, would have been better than the second, as there is more place to support the cobra than the second one.

Ja but Guys you didn't Listen to him, its not about the stick cause he will make the snake tired before catching it.

Well I have had my chuckles for the morning . Agree with BV thou if he wants to play let him but then he should not be allowed anti-venom when he gets bitten.
