LEOPARD TORTOISE COLOR MORPHS

Postby yagyujubei » Fri Dec 28, 2012 7:42 pm

A lady in the US imported some leopard tortoises from SA in the 1990's, and got one with an unusual color, which she calls "sunset hypo".Here are a couple pictures of both the female, and a F-2 "hypo" offspring. Eventhough she has been selling Hets for years, these are the only pictures of this color I have seen. Has anyone in SA seen any color morphs? I know that there are albino Babcocki being bred in Tanzania.

Nope I have seen some pale coloured ones but I think that is just a normal variation.
