Is it just the photo, or does this baby lack yellow bands? Looks like a Albino Mack Snow, but one of the parents should be a Mack Snow then. Very interesting baby. Please do post updates of this baby as it develops.

That is what i also thought, but i have no idea.

I got one other baby feom the same mating and that baby is a normal.

When i opened the tub i first thought was tremper snow albino, but what are the odds?

I got these 2 geckos from a breeder in KZN and he did not even know anything of there history all he told me was that he had them for 5 years and never bred them or never bred them succesfully.

So i made it a mision to produce babies. The mother is a bells albino and the dad is a super hypo tangerine carrot tail baldy and he is het for tremper.

My big thing is i dont think we had the snow morph in SA 5 years ago. So what are the chances that this baby is a tremper snow albino.

This baby has red eyes. I will take more photos as soon as it starts eating i dont want to stress him out to much at the moment.

I also incubated him for male as i dont have any albino males. So please people hold thumbs that he is a he and become a beautiful adult.

Okay will kepp you all updated as he grows.

He is completely white and pink at the moment. And even still the same colour after his first shed.

Hi guys just a update on the little Albino

Looks more like a tremper at this stage, but its eyes say bells.

I'd rather call the male a Super-Hypo Tangerine Baldy. In SA, as far as I'm aware, the "requirement" for a gecko to be called a carrot-tail is that it must have 15% carrot-tail.

Judging by the female's eyes, I think she's a Tremper Albino, and if she produced an Albino baby with a het Tremper, that proves it even further. The picture may not show the true colour of her eyes, so the male may infact be a het Bells Albino. The 3 strains of Albino are all incompatible, so they'd have to be the same strain in order to produce homozygous babies in the first generation.

That baby looks like a Tremper to me. Might turn out to be carrot tail, still to young to say for sure. The higher the incubation temperatures, the pinker the eyes of a tremper hatchling.
