Miscellaneous baby…

Miscellaneous baby…

Postby Clay » Fri Oct 04, 2013 12:36 pm

A while back I had a few eggs that were laid outside the laying boxes and some that just looked a bit dodgy... and instead of chucking them out I put them in a separate container in the incubator... with no labels of parents etc because I didnt think they would hatch... but some did.

I have no idea who the parents are :-?

This is one of the little ones now... looks like a "normal" but something seems a bit different, can't put my finger on it but I think she's cool :€)

Well she does have Halloween mask and lavender traits.

Do you not have any records of which geckos you mated this year?

Yeah agreed ;)

Shew... I had a few combinations of match ups and I labelled the containers with the parents.
But this little girl came from my "misc" container, which was a lovely surprise but has left me guessing the who the parents are and what het. genes she has.

Can you tell us what your combinations were.

Like I said there are visible HM traits so if there was only one combination that had HM involved it becomes more likely that this hatchling comes from that pairing, but at the end of the day you will only be able to find out what genes she has through the process of test breeding her.
