I tend to go over board just for that reason. At the moment I breed 4 species of roaches and have a good cricket and mealworm supplier. Some of my geckos go off certain foods and then just want another. I have a Tremper female that had a very low appetite until I introduced her to mealworms. Her appetite is among the best of my geckos.
Another thing that can turn males off food is the presence of an ovulating female. I know that is irrelevant to this topic but I thought I would just throw that in to those unaware of that.

Don't worry she prefers grandmothers roasts over Mac Ds lol.
