I was worried about one of my female iggies that was gravid nearly 14 weeks and stopped eating 3 weeks ago, losing condition that I don't like. The base of her tail and hind legs nearly had no more fat. She drank water and was scratching/ digging strongly, but I was worried.
When I contacted BV, he explained to me that she needs calcium powder for the oviduct and smooth muscles to contract sufficiently for eggs to be layed. Well BV, I gave her a teaspoon full of powder( I flushed it down with a little water) she wasn't very impressed with me
this morning 49 eggs!!!
thanx a million
