BEHAVIOUR

Postby DeanKoupe » Thu Oct 18, 2012 7:57 am

Hi all, me again :)

I sealed up the mesh sides of my Iguana's cage with glass, to hold heat and moisture more efficiently.
(It is a chameleon cage, mesh on both sides and top)

My Iguana (still a small juvenile), just doesnt seem happy, he hides most of the time behind his waterfall or one of the logs, he/she does not often bask under the basking lamp, I fill up his food bowl, with fruits and veggies, and if I'm lucky, he'll eat from it once a week.

Also, if I walk in front of the cage, and the Iguana isnt in hiding, he gets "frightend" and speedily runs around his cage like a "crazy lizard".

Is this behaviour normal???

Thanks all.
