Thanks so much Chantel for all the help in IDing the morphs in this clutch. So, managed to get Snows, Amels, Anerys and Motleys.

Roland, as requested : They're all in tubs now, and I'll take pics again once they've all shed and eaten.

Thats quite a decent mixture you have there. I guess you will be keeping some back?

Roland, managed to take pics of all but one. Camera died before I could get the last shot...

Arno, A very lucky packet mixture on this one, and I have no idea how I or the missus are going to choose which ones to keep back... They're all so pretty.

Well, with a warning, albeit too late, here are pics of all the little ones...

Now, if I have done my research correctly, I should have Anery, Amel, Normal, Snow, Motley, and Amel Motley... 6 morphs in one clutch... Not bad...

I went onto iansvivarium, and did the calcs, and tried to figure out what the parents are, and I think I found the answer...

If the Male is : Amel het Anery, Motley

And the Female was : Normal het Amel, Anery, Motley

Phenotype:

3 / 32 Motley het Amel 66% poss het. Anery
9 / 32 Amel 66% poss het. Anery, Motley
9 / 32 Normal het Amel 66% poss het. Anery, Motley
3 / 32 Anery het Amel 66% poss het. Motley
1 / 32 Anery, Motley het Amel
3 / 32 Amel, Motley 66% poss het. Anery
3 / 32 Snow ( Amel, Anery ) 66% poss het. Motley
1 / 32 Snow, Motley ( Amel, Anery, Motley )

Genotype:

1 / 32 Motley het Amel
1 / 16 Motley het Amel, Anery
1 / 32 Amel
1 / 32 Normal het Amel
1 / 16 Amel het Anery
1 / 16 Normal het Amel, Anery
1 / 16 Amel het Motley
1 / 16 Normal het Amel, Motley
1 / 32 Anery het Amel
1 / 8 Amel het Anery, Motley
1 / 8 Normal het Amel, Anery, Motley
1 / 16 Anery het Amel, Motley
1 / 32 Amel, Motley
1 / 16 Amel, Motley het Anery
1 / 32 Anery, Motley het Amel
1 / 32 Amel, Anery
1 / 16 Amel, Anery het Motley
1 / 32 Amel, Anery, Motley

Would anyone care to confirm this noob's research? Thanks for looking, and hope you enjoy!

Well, all of the babies have shed and eaten their first meals on their own. Some of them have amazing colors, and I am seriously going to have to sit down with the missus and decide which ones to hold back... Excuse the horrendous typo errors (motely instead of motley) . I was in a rush, and really didn't feel like redoing the whole lot... Plus, it's Monday...

Lot one :
Image
S1T1 is a definite keeper, and I have no idea what's going on there...

Lot two:
Image
S2T2 is a definite keeper. So bright and orange.

Lot three:
Image
S3T3 is also a defo keeper. Only anery in the clutch.

Lot four:
Image
S4T4 I probably going to be a keeper. Just look different.

Any corrections to the morphs (noob to corns), or comments are always appreciated!
Enjoy!

Nice man, good clutch you got there! Lucky with the two Snows! Your morph identification look prefect.

I would keep back both the Amel Motleys, the second Snow and last two Normal Motleys. That's only 5 out of 12 so not that bad

Thanks Westley, actually it's 16 babies, so I suppose I can keep a few more then, like the first (S1T1) amel... ;)

Roland, I was hoping for a nice surprise, but was expecting a bunch of normal het for amel.

Hoping one of the normals is a female. Then I can try and reproduce this clutch in a few year's time, unless I can find an adult female normal het for anery, amel and motley... Chantel? ;)

Well, the little babies are eating like machines, and some have already had their second shed... Just thought I'd post a few of the pretty ones... Which is basically all of them... Hahaha!

First up are two Normals poss het Anery, Amel, Motley. Notice the huge contrast difference on these two!

They are looking very good :) I love the motley pattern, in any colour morph.

The cubed motley pattern in your normal motley is stunning.

Thanks a lot Arno, Yep, they had really surprised me, and their coloration is just getting more and more vibrant.

Chantel, Thanks for the compliment. I have 3 normal motleys here, and all 3 have varying degrees of "cubing" on their patterns, but only one of them actually has a marked amount of it, so he is defo a keeper. The others I may just let go as Motleys poss het amel anery. And I have some plans for these snows... And some other Snow Motleys I have...

Well, the little worms are growing nicely, and they are slowly getting bigger, and brighter. Just thought I'd share a few of the keepers, and some of the ones up for grabs come spring.

Here they are in no particular order...

Normal poss het Anery, Amel, Motley
Image

Amel poss het Anery, Motley (possibly a Fluorescent Red/Orange? Chantel? The missus' fave)
Image

Snow poss het Motley
Image

Amel Motley pos het Anery
Image

Anery poss het Amel, Motley (my personal favourite)

Enjoy! I'll upload more of the others when I get a chance.

Well, these chaps are really turning out to be something else. Just thought I'd share some of the hold-backs that we've decided on.

They're looking good man and seem to be growing well.

I cant help but wonder if you maybe had a het hypo sire and dame as this particular baby is very light. Even the anery looks a tad lighter than normal.

Image

Anyhow, good luck with them and enjoy them. Now to add a few other morphs to the mix!
