I've had a good two weeks. Last week Monday (5 November 2012) I was blessed to come home to a fairly big clutch of babies. Unfortunately there were some still born and slugs in this clutch, but all in all I'm happy with the 21 live and healthy babies.
I introduce my 2nd batch of babies for the season. They are all just normal boas, no special morphs. Sorry if the pics are a bit gory.
Then on the 13th November I walked into my snake room and was met by another clutch of babies. My 3rd clutch for the season, and I am ecstatic!! Once again a few slugs and 3 still borns (they had the same males in as the previous clutch but the moms were unrelated). This time 16 lovely babies. Unfortunately some had not absorbed the yolks, so we'll wait and see how they do. They still look fine at this stage, 2 days later.
I tried to sneak some babies out of the cage before I took mommy out, and she did not like it at all!! - and here's the proof!
But arent they so worth it!!!
Thanks for looking...
