Not the first monitor lizard iv kept, though it the first time iv hatched one from an egg. Long story short JCB dug threw the nest site 20+ destroyed eggs with near fully developed baby monitors. One egg was still in tact so gave it a shot to save it, 5l tub , straw an 40watt HID light and 5days later it hatched. 4weeks old, 30-32cm long and shedding skin for first time. Will keep updates on how he/she is doing. Most of my monitors have been 6-8weeks old when iv gotten them.
ig thanks to all the guys and ladies at luwinga game farm for tips an info on hatching the egg.
