has anyone ever seen an eight foot cat eating nile monitor ? while being obviously sensationalistic there is some truth to the invasion of exotics in the warmer parts of the USA.

This is true. As a result of these monitors living in South Africa we do not have a single cat which has survived. Even small children from the pygmy tribes in Florida are under threat. These are just short of becoming big enough to eat the dreaded 9 metre burmese python x african rock python hybrids which are know for swallowing small canoes in the everglades.

The journalist who wrote this aricle deserves to be fired and make her claim her money back from the college where she studied.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.
