Hi there,

Need some help identifying this little guy, he was bitten by our dog, so would like to keep it till it heals up and let it go again, just need to know what to feed it. We live in the Western Cape.

Its an Agama and you can feed in crickets, meal worms and even cockroaches. Lots of sunshine (direct sun) and he should recover quickly.

Thank you for that information, did a quick search on google to try find out which agama it was (for interest), well needless to say, way too many results.

Any idea which type of agama?

I recon you have got a young Agama hispida there. They are usually quite boldly patterned as juveniles.
