Strange brown Scales

Hi Guys

Please look at the attached picture of my male albino hatchling.
I am relatively new to Ball Pythons but noticed these brown scales
on my boy.

Now I want to enquire from the experts is this anything to worry about and if so what is the treatment.

Please see if you can get a close-up picture of the small cluster close to the tail.

Always when I read "brown scales" the term scale rot jump to mind, but your issue doesn't look malignant at all.

Did you receive the Ball like this or did the brown scales develop over time?

Hi Wesley

This is the first time that I have noticed it and at first I thought it was dirt, but it is part of the snake and I cannot recall that I received it this way.
Sorry for being so vague, but I believe not to handle my snakes and play with them, however I am sure that I would have noticed this when I got it.

This is the closest pic I can get at short notice, please advise if it is sufficient.

Do look smaller than the other scales and do they have a different texture to normal ones.

No the texture looks the same.
He overturned his water bowl a while ago and he defecated in it, is it possible that some dirt went in underneath the scales.

Dirt would not discolour the whole scale.
If they feel the same as the other scales and have no size difference then I don't think there is anything wrong.
Snakes often develop different coloured scales and they may very well fade away over time as it sheds.

It will disappear with the next shedding. I am pretty sure it was the moisture that caused the dicolouration.

Ahh, great thank you guys I appreciate the help, I was just worried that it might be some problem, I will keep an eye on it though and will keep you posted if it gets worse.
