Hi all :)

Just thought id share some photos of my Spider X Normal Ball Python in lock. I haven't bred snakes for about 8 years, so I'm pretty excited.

The last eggs from last year have not even hatched yet and the newest locks are already being recorded. Looks like the do basically breed all year around.

I also thought its a bit early. I wasn't planning on pairing them up for another month or so at least, but another collector I know had already recorded a lock with one of his pairs. My main reason for putting them together was to actually encourage the female to eat a bit more, my theory being that some hormones/pheromones may make her want to bulk up a bit in anticipation of breeding haha, but I guess she thinks she's a suitable size.
