Received a call out today and found these two brown house snakes, a male and a giant (for this locality) female. Will measure the female tomorrow night.

OH BTW I'm not really asleep, just had a rotten day, trying to run a course in Mossel Baai, and forking out R2500 for an alternator :(

Beautiful snake though.

I hope that you do not plan on releasing her. She deserves to be in an "old age home" where she can get fed regularly, be safe from predators and hopefully breed a few more seasons. Her babies can be released in the same area so that her genetic advantage (size) can be preserved for future generations.

Are you keeping them separate, with or without heat?
I'm not sure if you know Pierre but he also has/had two nice big females but I'm not sure they were this big.
