BHS Feeding Question

BHS Feeding Question

Postby clinton.wayne » Mon May 10, 2010 12:43 pm

Hi Guys

I found a Brown House snake (approx. 26cm) which is with me at the moment. I bought pinkies for it and I found that the snake ate it alive without constricting it. (Swallowed it tail first)
Is this normal behaviour?

Without constricting is not uncommon with small snakes and small food items.
I have a Aurora house snake that never constricts feeds alive.
