Brown house snake permit help, please read.

Hello fellow herpers

I have a small 'problem', I am currently filling out my Brown house snake permit application and I am stuck at the snakes name section.
I understand that the Brown house snake has had its scientific name changed, what is the new name if I may ask? Must I fill the new or old scientific name? Is Natcon aware of the name change and do they have it in their systems?

I am a bit confused right now and want to make sure the permit is 100%.

I would suggest you just use what is written above on the section of the forum, Lamprophis (Boaedon) capensis.
Covers everything.

I have always liked Boaedon better. Since I could remember, they have always reminded me of mini pythons Despite of all the wonderful species out there today, these remain my favorite snakes, especially those feisty babies that have the bravado of a 2m cobra are the cutest!

Until the name changed I never knew about Boaedon.
