It's T.albolabris.

It is according to some authors:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trimeresurus#Taxonomy

I just wonder what the justification for this "name change" is?!

Lachesis have a look in which section this is being posted. It clearly says "Whitelipped tree vipers (Cryptelytrops albolabris)". Please do not argue unless you have some method of backing up your allegations. Go do your research first.

It is no longer Crytelytrops albolabris, and it is accepted that it is now Trimeresurus once again. Maybe you should research allegations first.

If you want to use wikipedia as your information, it clearly says here it was returned to Trimeresurus in 2011, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trimeresurus_albolabris

I would've thought you would have read the paper by now.

That paper was published and still has to be accepted. Currently it is the only reference and all papers of this type are just suggestions until they are quoted and used by other scientists. I cannot find any other papers published after May 2011 where the old names are used again.

It might be correct or it might not be accepted (just like Boa mandrita was proposed in place of Sanzinia madagascariensis) even though it has been published.

It has been used in several papers since that paper has been published. It doesn't take long to find them.

TA-2, a thrombin-like enzyme from the Chinese white-lipped green pitviper (Trimeresurus albolabris): isolation, biochemical and biological characterization

And also it is noted here that it is also Trimeresurus.

http://biomed.papers.upol.cz/pdfs/bio/2012/02/15.pdf

I've spoken to someone who is up to date with these re classifications and i quote what he says "if you want to follow David et al, it's indeed Trimeresurus. If you want to follow the system by Malhotra & Thorpe (2004), which does split the giant genus Trimeresurus into several subgenera, it's Trimeresurus too - Cryptelytrops is no more valid. Actually it has never been valid, because the type species of the genus Trimeresurus is a member of the albolabris-group."
