Puffies rescued

Postby Daniellouw » Sun Apr 29, 2012 11:58 am

These two were disturbing preparations for a wedding! The were unfortunately alsodisturbed while busy with wedding preparations!... I got permition to keep them for a day or two just to see if they could continue were they left off, but unfortunately nothing happened and they were released in the safety of the Kruger again.

Those are gorgeous snakes man. There was a post a while ago about an "albino" Puff Adder and it looks similar to the male.

As far as I know these are normal colour variations.

While I was handling the male, my son took this picture. Not bad for a 10 year old.

Very beautifull puffies and well done for saving them my favourite indiginous species. But I have to say the prettiest puffies come from KZN.

Ya I know, not saying they're anything special, just his light colour in comparison to the female reminded me of those pics :-) still really pretty Puffy's!
