Puff adder feeding

Postby Darius Basson » Tue Nov 06, 2012 1:59 pm

Hi everyone,

I just want to know what is the feeding schedule for a puff adder that is 63cm long?
And what size food?

Thanks for your help!

Darius, I understand you are very excited about you new Puffy, but you really have to learn to search before posting a question.

Most of your questions (substrate, feeding, permits etc.) have all been discussed at length, so if you just took the time to try a few search terms and not simply expect us to give you all the info you need, I think you would find all the answers you need.

Post some pics of you Puffy when you get a chance.

In a nutshell. Feed a large dead mouse or small rat every week for three weeks then skip a week and start feeding again.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.
