I think a lot of animals died, because crazy venomous snakes bite them if they sleeping.

First the stupid black manba bite the death lion and than she want eat him.

You can’t kill something that’s already dead and that lion was dead to start with, as for killing them in their sleep, I dont think so. but it is strange that the snake will try to eat it, or is this more common than I think, or is this a mamba thing?

I couldn't watch the video with sound, but that looks like a Veiled Chameleon to me.

I can't think of anywhere in the world where these two species overlap, so I wonder if it was staged.

Or it's one of the other Chamaeleo species I do not recognize.

99.9999999999 percent of these type of videos are staged...Almost none are actullay real fights/accounts involving wild animals


But does anyone think a lion would be able to survive a black mamba bite? Assuming it was a full on bite? Has anyone ever of big cats dieing from highly venomous snake bite...I have a few accounts of it happening but I just want to know if any of you have personally seen or heard stories about it happening?

If you take into account that really large dog breads die frequenty (and quickly) from Mamba bites, and that humans also die from it and even accounts of horses, then looking at body mass only, a lion would never servive a proper mamba bite. In theory, given the toxisity of the venom, the venom of one bite could kill more than one lion!!

The largest animal killed by a mamba in South Africa was a young giraffe. That is a massive beast so a lion is not a problem. I remember seeing a lion die from a Cape cobra bite too a few years ago.

That's amaizing Bushviper! Can you remember the backround of the Cape Cobra bite? I am trying to find a reason why a Mamba would need to bite a lion.
