This season is gonna be good [Naja nigricincta mating]

They are hatching slowly and only one more is out. Unlike the first one i posted yesterday, its colors seem much more normal like the rest in the eggs.

Excuse the blurry head.

Ok Most babies are out, or halfway out.

The first baby to hatch, posted earlier in this thread, is certainly different...almost hypomelanistic with lots of white. It is very weak and thinner than most so it may not survive. I'll do my best to keep it going.

Thanks for looking and thanks for all the wonderful comments!

Thanks to you for breeding such wonderful snakes! Hope the weak one makes it.

Yes pretty please?

One of the last species I really want to keep one day. They look mindblowing.

Cheers, Ro.

Ok so out of 11 babies that hatched, the hypomelanistic 'weak' died within dayand another one died suddenly a few day after hatching for no reason.
I am left with 8 babies (4.4) that are doing really well and yesterday they ate large thawed fuzzies with gusto!

Craig, they look awesome man! And again well done.
Are you keeping these in a racking system? How big are these guys? One more question, where do they occur?

Thanks Marc. Yes they are in a racking system and they naturally occur in the northern half of Namibia as well as Southern Angola.

Wow, so nice! If there's anythig you're looking for, let me know. Would love to trade.

Otherwise, write me down for next year if you breed succesfully again.
