My rescued Naja atra baby

Hi
I rescued around 1month ago a baby atra. it was around 35cm long and in very bad condition. Now it's wounds a healing and it feed good .Because soon they will take winterrest here I will keep it antill spring and than i will release it again.

Definitely Naja atra, very cool man :)

Naja atra have a few different phases, that looks like "formosan phase"
A good burper is a good herper.

Sure it is a Taiwan one. I live in Taiwan. The mainland one is darker.

Here a photo from a death one I tryed to rescue but I came to late,it was almost death and died a few minutes later.It is around 1,20m long. Scared humans beat it on the head.

That was nice fat specimen. You must feel the same rage we do when you try to rescue and animal and somebody else has damaged it. The worst is they always seem so pleased with themselves.

Yes they think they did something good. Cobras are protekted here and you can go to jail for killing them. But they dont care.
